Hello Everyone! It's been quite a while since anyone has posted on here. Alisha and I tried to keep it going, but life happened and things got busy. Lately, I started thinking about this blog and how fun it was for everyone! We had all kinds of reviews and contests with people interacting with one another. It was a good community for those who loved to read. This is why I would like to announce that I have started up my own blog, Brooke's Books. It's not nearly as big as Alisha's website and it's just starting up, but I'm putting up a lot of the same kinds of reviews on my blog. Review
Plot: Right from the beginning things are exciting. Isadora can feel a special connection with the new, mysterious boy, Tristan. Does he feel it too? He's not very consistent with his emotions and it leaves poor Isadora very confused. Then there's the visions she keeps having leaving her thinking she's going insane. I was constantly frustrated with both of the charcters but in a good way! I got into the story and felt what the characters were feeling. In that way I knew the plot was well written. She created tension and emotions nicely and she kept me constantly wanting to read more.
Character(s): Isadora is a strong, independant girl who feels constantly trapped. One thing I really liked about her is that she was flawed. She would do stupid things and she wasn't a prefect strong character. She would lose her temper a lot and get really shy sometimes. She was relatable and I loved that about her! Sometimes I wanted to yell at her for being stupid but that's what made me care for her so much.
Cover: The cover is very simple and I think it's perfect for this story. The shading and lighting is very pretty. I like the feeling it gives you for this book.
Closing Thoughts: This book definitely deserves a four out of four. There realyl was nothing I could complain about for this. The plot line was amazing and really cute. The characters were strong and probably my absolute favorite thing about this book. The author uses emotions and senses and lets you really feel the book which is great, too. The tone was mature and well written and I absolutely loved this book! I definitely would reccomend this to everyone.
